I built a divine statue, but it barely raised my favour production, how come?

The favor production is calculated based on the sum of all temple levels you have for a given God, and the increase is in favor production is not linear.

The special building Divine Statue increases the favor production equal to 5 levels of the temple. The more temples you have worshipping the same God, the less one statue will affect the overall favor production for that god.
